Session 10 - Art in different cultures

Miss McWatt led a fabulous session on Art in Different Cultures, the girls explored the process of modelling in 3D materials to develop an understanding of masks from different cultures.

First they looked at masks from other cultures such as Africa, Papua New Guinea and American-Indian and identified recognisable features, then they worked with the softest clay to mould and shape their own mask. Everyone had a great time and loved getting creative. Thank you to Miss McWatt for a really fun morning.
